Workplace design for machining of motor shafts

The main goal of this bachelor’s thesis „Workplace design for machining of motor shafts“ is setting a new technology of machining shafts in the Siemens s.r.o., o.z. Elektromotory Mohelnice. At the beginning a theory of production preparation is described and the nowadays methods of production. In the next part of the work the present production and evaluations of most critical spots are described. Two proposals of the new workplace are offered. In the end of bachelor work the economical aspects of the new workplace are considered.

The Study Compared the Effectiveness of the Preparation of Selected Products

A bachelor thesis „Study of production preparation effectivness for selected products" analyzes the current state of the company in terms of readiness for a new product manufacture and recommends whether to outsource the production or not. The theoretical part is focused on fundamentals of market research, customer segmentation and technological issues of a production. Practical part describes all steps, activities and decisions undertaken during the real market research, production alternatives evaluation and target groups selection. The goal of this paper is to find the most feasible way to launch a new product on the market.

Study of Process Control in Selected Products

The thesis focuses on the process of production of castings in the company ŽĎAS, a.s. and its methods for implementing customer's requirements. The goal was to create a Work Flow diagram of technical preparation of production based on the company's internal directives. The next step was to compare it with the actual situation represented by a case job and to make a conclusion. The customer's requirements for the case production order included increased level of control and purchasing weld-on parts. The incorporation process for these requirements was not described by the original Work Flow and was the subject of its new revision. For its better practical application the Study contains business and organizational structures of ŽĎAS, a.s.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the preparation technology for the production of alternator covers. The thesis describes the choice of which machine and tools to use. Furthermore specific problems which have come up during sampling are discussed. Twards the end you can find the calculations of the ammount of time per piece, the total production time and energy consumption.

The main objective of this thesis was evaluated to existing activities in technical disposition of production. Based on lessons learned to recommend an appropriate information system and propose a methodology for implementation of the company. Design an information system is applied to the company NEDFORM Ltd., which is looking for an information system suitable for the technical dispositon of production. Proposal is based on the actual software and Hardware Company. Part of this work is design to a suitable supplier for the company.
